    With over 30 years of expertise in the IT sector, SCHIFFL has established itself as a trusted partner for secure and advanced IT solutions. SCHIFFL's Managed Services, built on its own high-performance private cloud and robust infrastructure across five European data centers, ensure high availability and data integrity for businesses. Enhanced by premium security and UCC technologies, along with the unique Digital Workplace Services of GEMA International AG, SCHIFFL drives digital excellence on a global scale and actively contributes to the success stories of its clients in the era of artificial intelligence.

  2. 2022 Expanding Global Market Position

    SCHIFFL strengthens its market position by increasing its stake in GEMA International Inc. to 50 percent. By expanding its ownership share, the company strategically enhances its capacity to effectively support the IT processes of global clients and efficiently manage international business activities.

     

  3. 2021 New Partner

    As part of the ongoing generational shift, Hermann Behnert,  long-time employee and Managing Director of SCHIFFL IT Service GmbH, joins the holding company as a partner.

  4. 2020 Division into Holding Company and IT Division

    As part of the SCHIFFL Group, SCHIFFL IT Service is being spun off as a specialized subsidiary focusing on cloud technologies. In the new corporate structure, the holding company, SCHIFFL Group, ensures financial stability and provides key services in Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance to its subsidiaries.

    With this strategic change successfully completed, the holding company structure allows individual IT divisions and other business units to operate independently while benefiting from the support and resources of the group.

  5. 2016 Expanding our Stake in GEMA International Inc.

    SCHIFFL GmbH & Co. KG becomes the majority shareholder of GEMA International Inc. by gradually acquiring shares from partners in Australia, the USA, and finally China in 2021. This strategic consolidation strengthens the group's global presence and enhances its ability to manage international business processes more effectively. At the same time, this restructuring lays a solid foundation for ongoing growth, ensuring consistently high-quality standards for customers worldwide.

  6. 2015 Launch of the First Proprietary Data Center Space

    In partnership with the Vodafone Group, SCHIFFL expands its managed service portfolio in the cloud and security segment and launches its first proprietary data center space in Frankfurt. The company continues to maintain the highest security standards, reliable operational stability, and excellent system performance. These elements are essential to SCHIFFL's outstanding customer service.

  7. 2014 Establishment of GEMA International Inc.

    The mobility division is undergoing a strategic expansion: The newly formed GEMA International Inc. globally covers end-device management with licensees from all regions of the world, resulting in an internationally available service. As part of this development, GEMA Germany is also being established as a fully owned subsidiary, with additional country subsidiaries to follow.

  8. 2011 Relocation to the Power Plant Site on Leverkusenstraße in Hamburg

    As part of its business expansion, SCHIFFL relocates its corporate headquarters to the former power plant site on Leverkusenstraße in Hamburg. After extensive remodeling, the new location blends state-of-the-art office architecture with industrial charm, highlighting the dynamic design that reflects the company's innovative and growing profile.

  9. 2009 SCHIFFL Mobile in Austria

    With the opening of a subsidiary in Vienna, SCHIFFL strengthens its expansion strategy while ensuring that its Austrian clients receive top-notch local support for developing and implementing secure, high-performance, and reliable infrastructures, as well as customized enterprise mobility solutions.

  10. 2008 Expanding Horizons: New Branch in Berlin

    To meet service demands in the Berlin metropolitan area, SCHIFFL strengthens its core competency in customer-centric support by acquiring an established tech company and opening a branch in the German capital. This move aligns with the company’s geographical expansion plans.

  11. 2002 Introducing the Mobility Division

    Early on, SCHIFFL identified the growing importance of mobile devices and launched a dedicated Mobility Division, becoming a Platinum Partner for Blackberry across Europe. With the rise of Apple’s iPhone in 2007 and the parallel development of Android, SCHIFFL established itself as a comprehensive service provider in mobile technologies.

    To meet the expansive demands of mobile technologies, SCHIFFL addresses these challenges with customized solutions and mobility strategies. This approach ensures the efficient integration of cross-platform mobile solutions into complex network system components.

  12. 1998 Launch of the SCHIFFL Service Center

    In response to the growing demand for customized solutions, SCHIFFL launches the Novell Service Center, embedding the concept of customer-centric service into its corporate culture. This initiative allows the opening of prioritized tickets for Novell business customers. As an expert in large-scale systems, SCHIFFL enables these customers to receive fast, tailored solutions. For instance, SCHIFFL seamlessly integrates innovative technologies such as Palm Pilot, Exchange Server, and later, Blackberry with established Novell products, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for its clients.

  13. 1993 Becoming a Novell Expert

    SCHIFFL & Partner establishes its expertise in network infrastructure, with a particular focus on Novell solutions. This strategic emphasis addresses the growing demand for connectivity within businesses and organizations. Over time, Novell's networking technology has proven to be the dominant choice for enterprises of all sizes.

  14. 1992 Starting as an IT Service Provider

    With a small team and extensive IT expertise, Klaus Schiffl launches the company SCHIFFL & Partner GmbH & Co. KG in Hamburg. The young company’s core services include data management, network organization, and IT consulting for tailored solutions.
